Voyager Estate

I’m lucky enough to work in one of the most beautiful wineries there is, and I thought it’s about time I share some photos of it!

Wine tour de Margarets

Margaret River is known for it’s wine industry and is home to some world known wines. It was just a matter of time before I had to go on a wine tour and experience what everyone talks about! In a nutshell, a wine tour consists of visiting numerous wineries, tasting their wines and buying a bottle or two if you please. As you would expect, a supposedly sophisticated experience can get quite rowdy in a short space of time, which eventually led to a big after party (which hasn’t been documented for many reasons). Below is a little insight into the wine tour, before things got slightly out of hand! IMG_8657 IMG_8659 IMG_8661

The tour was arranged by this little bundle of happiness! Thanks Coco. IMG_8760 IMG_8773

Fireworks, a sunset & a rock pool

A bit of a random selection of photos taken the last month! Fireworks on Australia day, a beautiful sunset and an amazing rock pool.

The view for a sunset from Matt’s family’s home is pretty amazing. IMG_7767

Peace out! Haha x

Rottnest Island

Just half an hour off Perth’s coastline is this amazing island called Rottnest or ‘Rotto’. As a sandy, low-lying island formed on a base of limestone, Rottnest is an island definitely worth visiting. Rottnest is perhaps best known for its population of quoakkas, a small native marsupial found in very few other locations. So if you’re ever in the worlds most remote city, make sure you visit it!

IMG_7621If I didn’t know any better (and wasn’t boiling hot) I would have thought this was ice, however, it’s actually salt. IMG_7624Postcard material.

IMG_7630 IMG_7636 IMG_7661We biked around half the island, which took us about half a day. This included lots of breaks, swimming and picnics though.

Secret Garden Show

Listening to music played by great artists in a backyard has always been a desire of mine, and a few weeks back I was lucky enough to get invited to exactly that. Beautiful Jess who runs ‘Three Little Birds’ (http://www.three-little-birds.com.au/) arranged a backyard/secret garden show with amazing Ziggy Alberts and Kyle Lionhart, and it was truly a night to remember. Great music, atmosphere and people!

PS. If you haven’t discovered their amazing music yet, you should definitely give it a listen.

Days in Perth

Long time no see! Even though I haven’t been updating here, my camera has still been with me  – and I thought I’d share a bit from my last month these coming days and weeks!

These photos are from a few days spent in Perth with my amazing mum about a month ago. imageIMG_7476

Girls day

Spent the day with beautiful girls, driving from beach to beach. Such an amazing coastline here, and there’s rarely people at the beach so you feel like you’re in your own little paradise. The water is so clear and refreshing as well, and it has the most beautiful shades of blue. No wonder it’s my favorite color!  And I just have to  quote Annabelle when she first came to Eagle Bay: ‘I think we just died and went to heaven!’. Haha, couldn’t have said it any better myself. IMG_7332 IMG_7333 IMG_7342 IMG_7343 IMG_7345 IMG_7353 IMG_7356Last but not least, a collection of attempts on getting a group photo, which turned out pretty darn cute! So much happiness. IMG_7366 IMG_7369 IMG_7370 IMG_7381Thanks girls!
